NURTURE
The Nurture series shows a blue cloth from the hospital operating room context. In this cloth was wrapped a placenta after birth. On the inside soft and slightly absorbent bears the traces of the event, The outside is smooth, sealed and moisture repellent. The cloth (Shroud of Turin and Sweat Shroud of Veronica) is revered in the Christian religion as a relic. Also because of the traces, the genetic material it has absorbed in direct bodily contact. In the series Nurture (from to nourish), the cloth becomes a relic of the origin that grows in the female body with the help of the placenta as a link.
